We pride ourselves in reaching the community outside of student housing.
Relay For Life
Campus Advantage is a proud national partner of Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society. As a national corporate team, Campus Advantage commits to having 50 teams or 500 participants from within the company to help finish the fight against cancer. Campus Advantage has raised over $150,000 for the organization and continues to participate each year both at the corporate and property level. Learn more on Relay For Life’s National Team page.
It’s On Us™
In 2014, Campus Advantage became one of the first partners for the White House’s It’s On Us™ campaign to raise awareness about sexual assault on college campuses. Representatives participated in a meeting at the White House to brainstorm ways to extend the reach of the campaign and to encourage people to take the It’s On Us™ pledge. Campus Advantage raises awareness and asks all residents and staff to show their support of the It’s On Us™ campaign and to sign the pledge.
Employer of National Service
Campus Advantage is an Employer of National Service. National service alumni are strong leaders who are motivated, flexible, innovative, and outcome-oriented. They learn quickly, work well on diverse teams, and know how to mobilize others to tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing our nation and our world. If you are an alumni of the Peace Corps or AmeriCorps, we encourage you to apply to work for Campus Advantage.
National Voter Registration
Campus Advantage is passionate about educating young voters and making sure residents take advantage of the right to vote. Because students in particular are fairly mobile individuals, there is not clear information on how to register and where they can vote. Campus Advantage has partnered with multiple organizations including Our Time, Student Association for Voter Empowerment (SAVE), and Rock the Vote. Learn more about National Voter Registration Day.
Each year, Campus Advantage supports Heifer International with a gift of animals to families in need. Giving these animals is like giving someone a small business, providing wool, milk, eggs, and more. Animal donations give families a hand up, increasing access to medicine, school, food, and a sustainable livelihood. Learn more about Heifer International.
Campus Advantage and its communities also contribute to local food banks, clothing drives, Habitat for Humanity, and more throughout the year as part of our Students First® program. We give back to our residents by providing resources and activities to prepare them for life, such as:
Personal Finance Coaching
Professional Headshot Photo Sessions
Mock Interviews and Tips
Each quarter, our employees are given a day to pursue their own volunteer efforts or support one of the company’s focus charities. Their volunteer efforts have benefited charities that include:
