
OPERATIONAL CONSULTINGThere are two facets to the operational consulting service. The first of the two is an Operational Review. This service will include a consultant team site visit and a full operating budget review, with a focus on expenses. The team will compile comprehensive information into a comparison of similar properties, with explanations and recommendations of any variances. This service will also include in depth reviews of staffing, residence life program, marketing and rental rates. In addition, competitive properties will be surveyed to truly determine how the property is positioned in the market.
The second facet of Campus Advantage’s Operational Consulting is the Operational Repositioning. This service includes all aspects of the aforementioned Operational Review. Furthermore, this service will include a detailed plan for repositioning the property to include recommendations on rebranding/remarketing, updated rental rates, staffing restructuring, capital expenditures and maintenance improvements. All recommendations will be supported by empirical evidence surveyed at the property and in the market, as well as Campus Advantage’s extensive experience in day-to-day operations of student housing communities.
