Campus Advantage Selected to Manage Greenville Tech Student Housing Complex

Demand for student housing, currently under construction by the Greenville Tech Foundation on Greenville Tech’s Barton Campus, has exceeded expectations in its early stages. Leasing projections indicated that 98 applications would be received in the first month. Instead, 343 applications have been received. This demand has necessitated the hiring of a part-time staff to assist the General Manager, Tiffany Lee meet administrative needs in the office. “I am amazed at the number of inquiries and early feedback the office has received.” Lee states.

The garden-style apartments will be located on Cleveland Street. Four buildings composing 121 units will house 438 Greenville Tech students. Options include 4 bedroom/4 bath (4/4), 4 bedroom/2 bath (4/2), and 2 bedroom/2 bath (2/2) units. Along with individual lockable bedrooms, each furnished apartment will offer living and dining space along with a fully-equipped kitchen. Housing costs will range from $410 per month for the 4/2 units to $425 for the 4/4 units to $550 per month for the 2/2 units. Costs are per person and include a generous electricity allowance of $80 per unit.

A highlight of the community is the state-of-the-art clubhouse which includes a game room, fitness center, computer lab, and vending area. Laundry facilities will be available on the ground floor of each building. Michael Hanley, Vice President for Campus Advantage, Inc. says, “This community will support each students’ educational and social needs. The community is still leasing, yet spaces are moving fast. The apartments also offer student-friendly lease terms. Specials are now available.
