Gary
Gibson is ultimately responsible for maximizing
property revenues and maintaining reasonable operating
expenses to provide maximum cash flows for their
owners. As a member of the senior team,
Gary brings real-world operational insight to
all development projects; assuring workable asset
management plans from the outset.
Gary
began his career in student housing in the early
1980's working his way through the "trenches"
as a Resident Assistant, Resident Director, Assistant
General Manager and General Manager for then industry
leader, Allen & O'Hara. Since then Gary
has held corporate management positions with Century
Property Management and American Campus Communities.
He has been involved with the management of ten
privatized on-campus student housing apartment
communities, served on numerous campus housing
management committees, and supervised the construction
of six full service residence halls. His
experience encompasses a broad student housing
knowledge base beyond day-to-day operations, including
dining services, renovations, capitol improvements,
large-scale FF&E replacement, property assessment,
and complex building systems/structures.
Gary
has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the
University of Wisconsin and is an active business
member of ACUHO-I.
