Scott Duckett
Vice President of Professional Services

Scott Duckett manages a team of professionals that oversee the lease-up, operations, and coordinate the transition of all new properties.  Scott also manages new business development and consulting services for Campus Advantage.  He assists with acquisition sourcing, manages due diligence processes, and coordinates market studies.  Scott's team works closely with clients to develop budgets, provide development consulting, respond to university RFP's for new housing, and other analysis & research related to student housing. Scott also supervises the negotiation and finalization of contracts and agreements for Campus Advantage. He is responsible for initiating new and maintaining existing relationships with colleges, universities, private owners, and allied business partners. 

Prior to joining Campus Advantage, Scott served 10 years in leadership roles for local government.  He worked with neighborhood and master planning programs, acquisition & development projects, as well as provided high level services to City Council and elected officials. Scott served on the Board of Directors of a statewide professional organization and received an outstanding Achievement award in 1999.           

Scott worked as a student recruiter and campus liaison at Oregon State University prior to serving 2 years as an educator in the Peace Corps in the West Indies.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Oregon State University and a Master of Science degree in Geography & Urban Planning from Portland State University.
